Batıbirlik Bahçekent I Urban Design Project Urban Design Project of Bahçekent -1 is the first stage of the Bahçekent project which consists of three stages and is carried out by Batıbirlik Housing Associations Union and it was confirmed by Yenimahalle Municipality in January 2009. This urban design project includes positioning of 1248 dwellings schematically as semi-detached, detached duplexes and storey dwelling types which will be builty by the 34 cooperatives dependant to the Batıbirlik in the 43.8 ha Bahçekent-1 area. It also includes determination of block entrances and roads inside the block and defining the landscape principles in Batıbirlik-wide. Urban design process was carried out through close relations with the managements of cooperative and the management of Batıbirlik and mutual feedbacks. Applicaiton projects are presented to the municipality for approval by architects, engineers and landscape architects of cooperatives in the light of Urban design projects. Some cooperatives began constructing by completing legal approval process. |
